Inez Ng is the founder of Realizations Unltd, and our mission is to advance your efforts to fully realize your aspirations while having fun along the way. She chose the word realize very deliberately, for it has a double meaning. To realize means to achieve. To realize also means to understand fully, to apprehend. How well do you understand yourself and your aspirations and what holds you back?
Inez is passionate about helping people maximize their capabilities. Her goal as a coach is to help her clients take action to get what they want in their lives. She does that by providing support and encouragement, speaking the truth, and getting her clients to discover the unrealized abilities they have. She is her clients' cheerleader, task master, champion, collaborator, and above all, their trusted confidante. Her greatest reward is being able to witness the impact her work has on the lives of others.

Work experiences
Before becoming a coach, Inez had a long, successful career in the corporate world working for a Fortune 50 Company. She started her career as an engineer and project manager.(She has a degree in Chemical Engineering.) But continued her career growth by branching out into staff positions where she acquired skills in business planning and financial analysis.She steadily rose through the ranks, and her responsibilities continued to increase.
For over 10 years, she was a leader and manager of different workgroups where she led, mentored, and coached her staff and numerous peers to success and job satisfaction. At her departure, she was an Operations Manager responsible for the performance of a 200+ person organization, operating 16 facilities in four states. She had managed budgets of $50 million, conducted training for hundreds of employees, and successfully implemented change in a 500+ person workgroup. She knows what attributes are essential for good leaders, and what actions motivates and inspires others.
Her career had afforded her wonderful training, and as a result, she is skilled in project management, supervision, facilitation, change management, team building, performance management, accountability and leadership. In addition, she understands the challenges and demands of the fast-paced, competitive corporate world, and how frustrating it is sometimes to deal with office politics.She also knows how paradigms and stereo-typing can deflate creativity and enthusiasm.
Her corporate background taught her how to be pragmatic, disciplined and focused on results. She was always effective in posting results on the bottom line, but the job function that she found most rewarding was in affecting change in others and being a catalyst in their growth.
Life experiences
Inez grew up in Asia and immigrated to the US when she was 17. It was her first test in handling a big transition, and she managed it with flying colors. She adjusted to new schools, new lifestyles and making new friends with ease and confidence. Due to her traditional Chinese upbringing and her now long residence in the US, she has a unique blend of East and West philosophies and outlook. She is open to different view points and ideas. She understands and embraces diversity.
Her corporate career required that Inez relocate every few years. She had moved six times, and lived in three different states (California, Colorado, and Hawaii). Those experiences had taught her to be super organized, flexible, decisive, open to different ideas, and accepting of others. These relocations also reinforced her willingness to take risk, her desire to continue to grow and evolve and experience new things.
One of Inez's high values is the connection to people. Because she had led somewhat of a transient life, she takes great care in maintaining relationships with her friends from these various locations. People are very important to her as they enrich her life. She stays in contact with friends as far away as Kuala Lumpur, Hawaii, Colorado, Michigan and Hong Kong.
Training
Inez takes the profession of coaching very seriously . She is a graduate of the Coaches Training Institute (CTI), the largest coaching training institute in the US. CTI's training curriculum is accredited by the International Coach Federations (ICF).
She has also completed certification training at the Coaches Training Institute. She is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach, CPCC. One of Inez's highest values is personal growth, so in addition to formalized training, she is constantly engaged in seeking knowledge through books, seminars, teleclasses, and workshop.
She is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), East Bay Coaches, and Coachville
The Person
Having the training, knowledge, and experience does not necessarily make someone an effective coach. What truly works is the connection between coach and client, and that is one of Inez's greatest strengths. She has wonderful interpersonal skills. She is warm and approachable, and has a great desire to be of service to others.
Her values of contribution and impact are what make her a fierce supporter and champion of her clients. They know she is in their corner and cares deeply about their success and happiness. Her style is light and relaxed. She combines pragmatism and humor in her approach. And she is relentless in her efforts to move her clients forward. She creates a spacious, safe environment where clients feel supported and motivated to tackle the hard questions.
